Pengaruh Self-Efficacy dan Dukungan Sosial Terhadap Stres Akademik Siswa Di MTsN 1 Surabaya

This study aims to examine the influence of self-efficacy and social support on academic stress among students of MTsN 1 Surabaya. This research is quantitative with a correlational design. The population consists of 146 students from the excellent class of MTsN 1 Surabaya, and the sample includes the entire population, totaling 146 students, selected using a total sampling technique. Data collection employed three instruments: the Student Life Stress Inventory (SLSI), the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES), and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS). The results indicate that self-efficacy and social support significantly influence academic stress, contributing 9.4% to the variation in academic stress. Meanwhile, the remaining 90.6% is influenced by other variables.
